    Major Dilan Perera SLSR is a Commissioned Officer in the Sri Lanka Army. He completed his education at Lumbini College, Colombo 10 and joined the 27th Intake of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 09th September 2009. Upon completion of the academic phase, he proceeded to the Sri Lanka Military Academy, Diyatalawa, for advanced military training. Following the successful completion of the training, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant on 20th September 2011 and posted to the Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment. Throughout his military career spanning nearly 16 years, Major Dilan Perera has held numerous key command and staff appointments. He has also successfully completed several local and overseas military training courses, contributing significantly to his professional development and operational effectiveness

    • Adjutant – 12th Battalion Sri Lanka Sinha Regiment
    • General Staff Officer 3 (Operational) – 223 Infantry Brigade
    • General Staff Officer 3 (Operational) – 224 Infantry Brigades
    • General Staff Officer 2 (Training) – Directorate of Psychological Operations, Army Headquarters
