Flying Officer IMYH Chandrarathna is a Regiment Officer in the Sri Lanka Air Force. He is a proud product of Central College Homagama. He joined the Sri Lanka Air Force as an Officer Cadet on 16 January 2018 to the Intake 62. After the completion of basic and advanced military training from Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School and Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay he was commissioned to the rank of Pilot Officer on 29 January 2022.

During his tour of duty, he has hold following important appointments:
