Flight Lieutenant Yoshan Chandrarathna is a Regiment Officer in the Sri Lanka Air Force. He is a proud product of Central College, Homagama. He joined the Sri Lanka Air Force as an Officer Cadet in Intake 62 on 16 January 2018. After completing basic and advanced military training at the Sri Lanka Air Force Combat Training School and the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy in China Bay, he was commissioned to the rank of Pilot Officer on 29 January 2022.

• Adjutant - No. 34 Regiment Wing, SLAF Station Morawewa

• Officer Commanding - No. 391 Regiment Squadron, SLAF RTC Ampara
• Officer Commanding (Overlooking) - SLAF Detachment Mahiyanganaya

Instructor Appointments

• Weapon Training Officer - Regimental Training Centre, SLAF RTC Ampara
• Troop Commander - KDU Southern Campus
