The Southern Premier League 2025 was an exhilarating cricket tournament organized by the Intake 41 batch of the Department of Information Technology at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University Southern Campus. The event took place on March 28, 2025, at the Southern Campus Cricket Grounds.
The occasion was graced by the Chief Guest, Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara VSV USP psc MMaritimePol BSc (DS), the Vice Chancellor of General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, along with Brigadier HMGE Herath RSP USP ndu psc, the Rector of Southern Campus, as well as Deans of Faculties, Senior Officers, military personnel and both academic and non-academic staff.

The event concluded on a high note with a massive DJ Night that electrified the atmosphere, and a perfect finale to a day filled with cricket, camaraderie and unforgettable memories.
